FAQ
In-home pet sittings are geared towards reducing stress and increasing the comfort and happiness of your pet. Your pet may already be dealing with separation anxiety when their loved ones are away, adding an unfamiliar environment could cause a lot of additional, unnecessary stress. In-home sittings also reduce the risk of your pet being exposed to illness, fleas and potential aggression from other animals in boarding facilities. The best place for your pet is always home sweet home!
Yes! I require at least 1 visit per day for cats and at least 3 visits per day for dogs. I do not go longer than 12 hours at a time alone for dogs. This is to ensure the best possible care and safety of your pet!
Pet sitting is my full-time career rather than a hobby or weekend side gig. I am a certified Professional Pet Sitter by Pet Sitters International and certified Fear Free Pet Sitter. 941 Chelsea’s Furry Friends, LLC is licensed, bonded & fully insured in the State of Florida. With a professional, you get that extra level of care and peace of mind that your furry friend is safe at home in good hands.
I schedule all visits with a minimum of a 2-hour window for the arrival of the visit (i.e. scheduled time is 1pm, window of arrival time may be between 12:00pm-2:00pm) *I do NOT offer exact arrival times due to possible inclement weather, pet emergencies, traffic, pet accident cleanups and other issues that may not be within my control.
*Special accomadations may be requested for medical needs.
I have a business Venmo account and Zelle. All paperwork regarding veterinary release, emergency contacts and pet sitting contract will be sent to you via text or email. They are required to be filled out before your scheduled visits start.
I do require a 50% non-refundable and non-transferable retainer of the total reservation for Drop- in Visits & Overnight Stays when services are scheduled. I appreciate your understanding that I am the only service provider and a deposit secures your service dates.
Dog Walks & Drop-in Visits are prepaid in full to be scheduled. The rest of the total of an Overnight Stay is due 14 days before service. Cancellation fees of 100% for Drop-in Visits and Overnight Stay if cancelled less than 14 days. Cancellation fees of 100% will occur if visits are cancelled within 24 hours or less for Dog Walking.
I do not offer boarding, daycare or kenneling services. I offer in-your-home pet sitting to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of your pet.

Drop-in/Walks: +$10/visit Overnights: +$25/night
Your pets health and safety is my top priority. If in the unfortunate event your pet should need to see a vet immediately, I will contact you and get them to the vet. I am also CPR and Pet First Aid Certified by American Red Cross and Insured by Pet Care Insurance to help protect you and your pet.
I do require 48 hours notice prior to visits for existing clients. For new clients, I require at least 72 hours notice so that we can arrange a meet and greet before hand to discuss details. I am the only service provider and my schedule does fill up quickly.
Garage doors or front door codes can malfunction and batteries can die. I prefer to have a key as well in the event your codes don't work. If you chose to leave your key on property, it is done at your own risk and not recommended.
If an additional trip is required for a practice visit, to reacquaint with a pet, meet a new pet, or any other reason, these trips will be charged at the regular rate. Key pick up/return will be charged at a rate of $15 each trip, beyond the initial visit.
